About County Cork VEC
County Cork Vocational Education Committee is a statutory authority which provides education and training throughout Cork County in accordance with the Vocational Education Acts 1930-2001 and the Education Act 1998.
County Cork VEC is one of the largest schemes in the country, providing an extensive range of educational services from second-level education across 21 schools and colleges to Youthreach, Adult Basic Learning and Outdoor Education. We also administer schemes such as Student Grants/Scholarships, Schools' Transport and County Cork School of Music.
